For those students who are looking at a two-year option so they can enter the workforce sooner rather than later, good news! At EMCC, the cost of a two-year education is around $6,000 for tuition and fees.

Many of our students, especially those in trade and technical programs can expect to have a starting salary of anywhere from $40,000-$60,000. For students looking to continue their education, they can easily transfer on to a four-year college or university with two years of their education already completed, which saves them tens of thousands of dollars.

Our online application is free and easy to fill out. Once you've been accepted you can work with Financial Aid and the Business Office to figure out the best plan for you! Whether you qualify for grants or federal funding, or you set up a payment plan to avoid student loans. Even if you do take loans out, because our tuition is only $96 per credit hour, it means you'll take out far less than if you attended a four-year college or university. You may also qualify for the Opportunity Maine Tax Credit after graduation, meaning you'll earn a tax credit each year for living and working in Maine that is meant to help you repay your loans!
