    Live on Campus

EMCC has two large residence halls, Kineo and Acadia, housing between 250-300 students total.

Living on campus is great for students who really want to have the "college experience", meet new people, and immerse themselves in campus life.

Each hall has large common areas with large TVs and gaming systems to make socializing easy and fun! EMCC is right in the heart of Bangor in the mall area of the city. Just 15 minutes north on I-95 and you'll find yourself in Orono, and ten minutes in the other direction and you're in Historic Downtown Bangor and can enjoy all our small businesses, local breweries and restaurants, and enjoy a concert or just take a walk on the beautiful Bangor Waterfront!

The Community Connector also stops on campus by Katahdin Hall, making it easy for our resident students to explore the surrounding areas of Bangor, Orono, and Brewer!

Student Life at EMCC looks different for everyone. It can be a huge part of your student experience or just play a supporting role. Some students choose to live on campus and one of our two large residence halls, Kineo and Acadia. Whether you're a commuter or resident student, you can also take advantage of our dining hall in Katahdin hall or just grab a snack in the Eagle's Nest cafe located in Main Hall. The Student Success Center also in Main Hall, is where many students go to study and work on projects in groups. Trio Student Support services and tutoring services are also located in this area, and are available to help you with your coursework. Our large campus library with desktop computers, private study rooms and highly skilled librarians is located on the second floor of Katahdin Hall, and offers a quiet space for students to study. No matter what your needs are as a student, EMCC has got you covered.
